National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) conducted a three days Provincial Level Summer Contingencies Simulation Exercise

National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) conducted a three days Provincial Level Summer Contingencies Simulation Exercise, at Peshawar with a focus on enhancing KPK’s readiness for summer emergencies. The government departments from district Upper Dir, Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar and other stakeholders participated in simulation exercise. The SimEx was inaugurated by DG PDMA and Provincial Head of WFP, KPK. The simulation exercise, provided participants with a chance to reflect upon past experiences and future preparedness. The objective of the SimEx was to enhance the response mechanisms and better working coordination during emergencies. The closing ceremony was attended by VC Sarhad University, Peshawar,  DG rescue 1122, Deputy Secretary (Relief) and Head of Resilient Unit WFP, KPK.
