The 2nd Pakistan Expo on Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR 2025) has commenced with the theme "Pakistan’s Resilience Vision 2030," as approved by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. This landmark event serves as a pivotal forum for enhancing disaster preparedness, fostering collaboration and showcasing innovative solutions to mitigate risks.  

The inauguration ceremony was held at NDMA Headquarters. Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Malik, Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik and Ms Coco Ushiyama, Acting United Nations Resident Coordinator, officiated the expo. 

The PEDRR will span three days, providing an immersive experience through:  

- Strategic Debates on disaster management and policy reforms  
- Green Talks promoting sustainability and climate resilience  
- AI & Innovative Technology Displays revolutionizing emergency response  
- Seminars featuring DM and subject experts 
-Artistic display of theme based painting & photography 
-over 52 Capacity Support Displays from leading humanitarian organizations, Government departments, industry professionals and academia alongside armed forces installations and response equipment demonstrations in expo.  

PEDRR 2025 stands as a platform for resilience, innovation, anticipation, and collaboration, reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to a sustainable and secure future. PEDRR will focus on meaningful discussions and partnerships that drive collective progress in disaster risk reduction.
