Shazza Fatima Khawaja, the Minister of State for IT & Telecommunications, visited the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to gain insights into the authority's operational capabilities and technological advancements in disaster management.
During her visit, Ms. Khawaja was provided with a comprehensive briefing on NDMA's capabilities, emphasizing its state-of-the-art systems for disaster response, risk reduction, and early warning mechanisms. The Minister was accompanied by Asfand Yar Khan, Director General IT, Naouman Khalid, Member Technical, CDA, Sania Zaidi, Joint Director Coordination, Ministry of State for IT & Telecommunications and Babar Sheikh, Chief Coordinator.
