H.E. Mr. Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan called on Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik followed by brief of newly built NEOC at NDMA Head Quaters.Mr. Khazar Farhadov was briefed about capabilities of emergency operation center to deal with hazards and vulnerabilities and disaster management outlook through predictive modelling.

During the brief, Chairman NDMA apprised the Ambassador about Pakistan’s 1st International Expo on DRR to be held in April this year and the proactive approach in implementing anticipatory actions for mitigating future disasters through hi-tech Early Warning System (EWS). The Ambassador commended NDMA’s proactive approach and assured cooperation in Disaster Risk Reduction.
