The Ambassador was given a detailed briefing on the operational capabilities of NDMA in place at the state-of-the-art National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC).

 

NDMA team highlighted transition toward a technology-enabled, proactive disaster management and how initiates like early warning systems and digital risk mapping contribute to national resilience. The chairman emphasized the need for greater collaboration between the two nations to withstand the challenges posed by both natural and man-made disasters.

 

H.E the Turkish Ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm welcome. He acknowledged the strong and enduring bond between Türkiye and Pakistan, noting that both nations share common goals in building safer, more resilient societies. He reassured his country’s commitment to working closely with NDMA through technical support, capacity-building initiatives, and enhanced bilateral cooperation in disaster risk reduction.
