Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, HI (M) has assumed the charge as Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Upon approval of Federal Cabinet, the Establishment Division has issued the notification of his appointment. 

Lieutenant General Inam Haider is a veteran officer from Army Corps of Engineers, who has vast command and staff experience to his professional career credit spanning more than three decades, including comand of operationally deployed formations, infantry division along Pak-Afghan border in Balochistan and infantry brigade in erstwhile FATA. 

He has remained Director General of Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and Director General of Military Infrastructures at GHQ. His appointment as Chairman NDMA in exceptionally challenging times, brings colossal challenges alongside deliverance opportunities for NDMA, in preferred remodelled and value added consistent mode.
