NDMA Pakistan delegates led by Chairman Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik HM(I) , conducted ongoing events at global Humanitarian forum Geneva, Switzerland. Important discussions on disaster mitigation and adaptation were conducted with global organizations including International Council of Red Cross (ICRC), ⁠International Federations of Red Cross (IFRC), World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and UNDP Risk financing team.

An exclusive session for UN OCHA and INSARG components from global regions was organised, in coordination with Pak Permanent Mission in Geneva. The event was attended by HE Ambassador Bilal Ahmed and team. Chairman NDMA gave detailed exposition of Pak’s successful proactive disaster modelling systems including National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC), which was exceptionally acclaimed by all representatives.

Chairman NDMA also communicated about vast scope of smart logistics cooperation to all global partners. The session and capability of NDMA and NEOC was acknowledged by the participants.
