The visit by the 42nd Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) delegation from the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Peshawar, to the National Emergencies Operation Centre (NEOC) at NDMA Headquarters Islamabad highlights Pakistan's proactive strides in disaster management.
 
Led by Chief Instructor Dr. Muqeem ul Islam, the delegation was briefed on innovative systems and technologies spearheaded by NEOC, which serve as the hub for the country’s state-of-the-art disaster early warning mechanisms. The comprehensive exposure provided the visiting officers insight into the advanced and indigenous disaster management capabilities developed in Pakistan.
 
The delegation commended NDMA for its forward-looking and robust approach to mitigating disasters, emphasizing the importance of NEOC as a model of excellence in disaster management. The visit underscores the critical role of knowledge-sharing and capacity-building initiatives in fostering effective governance and preparedness across the nation.
