The All Russian Research Institute of Civil Defence for EMERCOM and Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) held an online meeting to discuss potential collaboration in disaster management. The All Russian Institute presented its work in civil defence, highlighting key research centers and laboratories focused on emergency prevention, risk assessment, fire safety, and technical diagnostics for disaster-affected structures. Both parties discussed opportunities for joint research, exchange programs, and the formalization of a partnership through a Letter of Agreement (LoA). Both the organizations expressed enthusiasm for future collaboration.
