Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, visited National Emergencies Operations Center (NEOC) at NDMA Headquarters today.

Chairman NDMA, Lt General Inam Haider Malik, along with the NDMA team, provided a comprehensive briefing on the capabilities of NEOC. The exposition highlighted the effective utilization of tech-driven disaster projection and predictive analysis within Pakistan's Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) cycle.

Dr. Siddiqui commended the establishment of NEOC and its proactive preparedness for natural disasters and the impacts of climate change. The Minister appreciated the integration of advanced technology in disaster management and stated that the proactive disaster management regime is crucial for timely and effective response and he was impressed by the dedication and expertise of the NDMA team. He expressed hope that our disaster response mechanism is robust and adaptive to evolving challenges.
