The delegation, led by H.E. Col (Rtd) Pg Kamal Bashah, Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI) and High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, included H.E. Amb. Dato’ Mohammad Azhar bin Mazlan from Malaysia, H.E. Maria Agnes M. Cervantes from the Philippines, H.E. Mr. Pham Anh Tuan from Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Wunna Han from Myanmar, Mr. Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma from Indonesia, and Mr. Kamolwan Sriposil from Thailand.

The delegates were given a comprehensive brief about the capabilities of NEOC. The exposition highlighted an effective utilisation of tech-driven disasters projection and predictive analysis in DRR cycle of Pakistan.

The delegation expressed strong interest in enhancing collaboration between ASEAN and Pak NDMA, marking a significant step towards fostering international cooperation in disaster management. This visit paves the pathway for strengthening partnerships and shared resilience strategies to collectively tackle challenges and improve disaster response capabilities across the region.
