The delegation of Asian Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (AFPPD) which is a broad network of parliamentarians in the Asia-Pacific and Central-Asia regions visited to National Emergencies Operations Center (NEOC ) at Pak NDMA HQs. The delegation included Hon. Ly Kimlieng and Ms. Roth Mony from Cambodia, Hon. AbdelHady El Kasbey from Egypt,Dr. Usmonov Farrukh from Japan, Dr. Mohammad Al Smadi from Jordan, Hon. Abdelkhaleq Al-Azzawi from Iraq, Hon. Valy Vetsaphong and Ms. Douangthip Boupha from Lao, Hon. Anara Naeem and Hon.Adam Shafeeq from Maldives, Hon. Dashdondog Ganbat, Dr. Urtnasan Enkhtuvshin from Mongolia, Dr. Jetn Sirathranont from Thailand, Ms.Guncha Annageldieva from Turkmenistan and Hon.Pham Khanh Phong Lan from Vietnam.

The delegates were given a comprehensive brief about the capabilities of NEOC. The exposition highlighted an effective utilisation of tech-driven disasters projection and predictive analysis in the DRR cycle of Pakistan. The delegation commended the establishment of NEOC and proactive preparedness for natural disaster and impacts of climate change. They laid stress on strengthening partnerships and shared resilience strategies to collectively tackle challenges and improve disaster response capabilities across the region.
