A delegation from member countries of Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIDRAP), an Intergovernmental Organization, mandated for promoting & strengthening Integrated Rural Development Systems for 15 Asia-Pacific Countries, visited NDMA’s NEOC. Visit to NEOC was part of the International training on “ Disaster Management and Climate Change Adaptation” organized by AKHNCRD in collaboration with CIDRAP and NDMA. Delegates from nine countries including Fiji, Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar were part of the delegation. The delegates were briefed on the capability exposition of NEOC, a technology driven platform for early warnings development and projections of future disasters. The future disaster's trajectories developed by NEOC indicate likelihood of hazardous event, time of impact, potential losses and alerts for vulnerable audience and help enablers.
