Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik held a meeting with Romina Khurshid Alam, Coordinator to PM on Climate Change, at National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) today. Chairman NDMA briefed her about the capabilities of NDMA's NEOC including projection of weathers, dissemination of early warnings, mechanism of anticipatory actions and risk communication to communities.

PM's Coordinator for Climate Change lauded efforts of NDMA & emphasized on enhancing the nation's preparedness  in the face of climate-induced emergencies. She laid stress on integrating climate considerations into policy frameworks and operational strategies across various sectors.
Chairman NDMA underscored the importance of harnessing technological advancements and fostering inter-agency collaboration to bolster the nation's resilience against climate-related disasters.
