NDMA held a briefing session for state-of-the-art newly built National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) for National & International Media including anchor persons, bureau chiefs and journalists at NDMA Head Quarters.

The briefing included presentation of capabilities of NEOC for early warning system, proactive preparedness, global outreach, role of Media as pivotal stake holder and risk communication in an effective manner.

NDMA also showcased its high-tech approach to monitoring disaster-prone areas, employing mobile units, satellite technology, and modern tools.

Media applauded NEOC facility and  NDMA’s efforts for proactive approach to deal with anticipated and unidentified disasters.
