Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik met with USARCENT delegation led by Lieutenanat General Patrick D. Frank, CG, at NDMA Head Quarters. Both discussed extending bilateral cooperation in the field of disaster management.He briefed the delegation on NEOC’s capabilities to deal with hazards and vulnerabilities, disaster management outlook through predictive modelling, early warning alerts and risk communication, and NDMA’s role in international relief assistance and global outreach.

Lieutenant General Frank commended NDMA’s proactive approach to disaster management and the role of NEOC(National Emergencies Operation Center) to mitigate potential hazards in Pakistan. He expressed interest in exploring future possibilities of engagement and cooperation based on mutual learning and experience sharing.
