Infrastructure Risk Atlas of Pakistan

Infrastructure Risk Atlas of Pakistan

The Infrastructure Risk Atlas is Pakistan's first initiative on a National Level to identify high risk areas from the perspective of infrastructure vulnerabilities against Floods and Earthquake hazards. The risk maps in this atlas have been devised using information relating to building type and vulnerabilities. It will help in proactively identifying regions with weak and vulnerable structures, enabling targeted disaster risk reduction efforts and interventions. The Atlas will support better decision-making for both government and private sector stakeholders, improving resource allocation and enhancing disaster response and recovery, ultimately strengthening infrastructure resilience for a safer, sustainable future.
