The private sector and industry constitute a strategic enabler of national disaster response and recovery, contributing financial resources, relief commodities, logistics, technology, skilled human capital, and operational capacity. Under the National Disaster Response Plan, private entities are encouraged to institutionalize disaster support as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Emergency Response, and Business Continuity frameworks
