A total of 100 tonnes of supplies — the 23rd relief convoy overall — was sent with the cooperation of Al-Khidmat Foundation.
The relief goods were loaded onto a special flight and flown out from Allama Iqbal International Airport.
The shipment includes ration bags containing flour, rice, cooking oil, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, and canned fruit.
So far, aid sent through 23 relief convoys totals 2,227 tonnes.
The dispatch ceremony was attended by the Governor of Punjab, Sardar Salim Haider Khan, as the guest of honour.
Representatives from the government, NDMA officials, and delegates from Al-Khidmat Foundation were also present.
The Governor of Punjab praised NDMA and the welfare organizations for ensuring the prompt dispatch of the goods and thanked them for their efforts.
He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to stand with the people of Palestine during this difficult time and to do everything possible to meet their needs.
