A distinguished delegation of honourable parliamentarians visited the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Headquarters and the National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) to gain insights into Pakistan’s disaster preparedness and response mechanisms.

During the visit, participants were briefed on NDMA’s multi-hazard risk assessment, early warning systems, and the use of advanced technologies for timely dissemination of alerts. The delegation appreciated the role of NEOC in ensuring real-time monitoring, coordination, and informed decision-making during emergencies.

The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the importance of strong policy support, institutional coordination, and community awareness in building a resilient Pakistan. Both sides emphasized the need for continued collaboration to enhance national capacity in disaster risk reduction and effective response.
