NDMA hosted the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Mission led by Ms. Zonibel Woods, Senior Social Development Specialist (Gender & Development) at the Gender Equality Division (CCGE), Climate Change & Sustainable Development Department (CCSD). 

 

The discussion focused on the Technical Assistance Program aimed at strengthening women’s resilience to heat stress across Asia & the Pacific. Key areas of collaboration were explored to enhance Pakistan’s early warning systems for heatwaves and boost community resilience, with a special focus on women’s protection against extreme heat.
