NDMA's NIDM signed LoU with MILKAR.com, a tech-based interactive platform for connecting volunteers with organizations to build a better community. MILKAR.com shall facilitate NDMA in engaging their registered volunteers for DRR and disaster response activities. NIDM, through this platform, will be able to disseminate NEOC advisories, Early Warnings, Best Practices, Anticipatory Actions, and Public Service Messages to more than thousands of registered volunteers and hundreds of organizations. Both organizations agreed to explore the possibilities of software support for NEOC and other tech-based initiatives of NDMA. Syed Kashf Ahmed, Project Director represented the MILKAR.com.
