The delegation was given a detailed briefing by NDMA on the monsoon and flood situation, early warning systems, rescue and relief activities, and precautionary measures.

Chairman NDMA, Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, informed that the Authority is working in close coordination with civil and military departments round-the-clock, and so far, hundreds of thousands of people have been relocated to safe places.

The delegation appreciated NDMA’s efforts and assured full national-level cooperation in dealing with natural disasters.
