The Chairperson of the Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) visited the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to discuss matters related to inclusive disaster risk management, accessibility, and the participation of persons with disabilities in disaster preparedness and response.

During the visit, NDMA officials highlighted ongoing efforts to promote inclusive and people-centered disaster management approaches, ensuring that the needs and perspectives of persons with disabilities are integrated into preparedness, risk communication, emergency response, and resilience-building initiatives.

The engagement provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing and discussion on strengthening collaboration between relevant stakeholders to enhance accessibility, awareness, and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities across the disaster management cycle.
