National Disaster Management Authority hosted the officers of the 45th Mid-career Management Course (MCMC), currently undergoing training at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Peshawar.

The study visit aimed to familiarize the officers with NDMA’s organizational structure, disaster management mechanisms, early warning systems and response coordination processes.

An interactive session was also conducted where probationers engaged with NDMA officials, discussed key challenges in disaster risk governance, and explored modern approaches in preparedness, response and recovery. The participants took keen interest in NEOC operations, data-driven decision support systems and technology-based early warning tools.
