The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) hosted the Inland Study Tour of the 47th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC), National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Pakistan Administrative Staff College (PSC).

The study tour provided participants with an opportunity to gain insights into Pakistan’s disaster management framework, institutional mechanisms, risk reduction strategies, preparedness, response coordination, and emerging disaster risks.

During the visit, participants were briefed on NDMA’s mandate, operational structure, disaster risk management initiatives, early warning mechanisms, and the role of coordinated institutional response in managing disasters. The engagement also facilitated an exchange of knowledge and experiences between NDMA officials and the visiting officers.

The study tour served as a valuable platform for capacity building, knowledge sharing, and strengthening understanding of disaster management among mid-career public sector professionals.
