NDMA has dispatched additional relief supplies for the flood-affected areas of Punjab.

Relief items were sent from NDMA’s warehouse in Islamabad to Punjab.

Today, a convoy of 20 trucks carrying relief goods departed, which will be handed over to PDMA Punjab.

The relief consignment includes heaters, folding beds/mattresses, and quilts.

Earlier, on 9th September, a convoy of 10 trucks carrying relief goods had also been dispatched.

From NDMA’s local warehouse, blankets and water cans have also been handed over to PDMA Punjab.

So far, a total of 1,660 tons of relief goods have been provided to Punjab, including blankets, tents, mosquito nets, water filtration plants, quilts, folding beds, water cans, and 17 boats.

NDMA remains in close coordination with all relevant civil and military institutions and is continuously monitoring the relief operations being carried out by the concerned departments.
