Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Visit to National Emergencies Operation Center at NDMA HQs. 

PM was accompanied by Federal Cabinant Minister's, Advisor and Coordinator. The PM was briefed by Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik on capabilities of NEOC, enabled by multiple satellite feeds, softwares and artificial intelligence tools, to generate a National Common Operating Picture (NCOP). NEOC capability to forecast weather patterns  six to ten months in advance not only at national but regional level was also highlighted.

During the brief, NDMA’s newly developed mobile application was also showcased. PM lauded the revamped NEOC & expressed hope that NDMA would prove to be a safety wall for Pakistan against the impacts of the climate change. He highly appreciated  the Chairman and team NDMA for actualising dream of focusing on capacity building and human resource development of the Authority.
