A high-level diplomatic delegation comprising Ambassadors and Chargé d’Affaires from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine visited the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Headquarters.
 
The delegation was briefed on the operational framework of Pakistan’s pioneering National Emergencies Operations Centre (NEOC) the first of its kind in the region. The NEOC represents a major stride toward a technology-integrated, anticipatory disaster management system. Demonstrations included Pakistan’s advancements in early warning mechanisms, digital risk mapping, and real-time emergency coordination.
 
Chairman NDMA underscored the significance of fostering structured international partnerships to strengthen resilience against natural and anthropogenic hazards. The visit facilitated a shared understanding and paved the way for enhanced bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the humanitarian and disaster risk reduction domains.
 
NDMA reaffirms its commitment to inclusive and forward-looking engagement with international partners for a safer, disaster-resilient Pakistan.
