A high-level delegation representing 65 countries, including Ambassadors, Deputy Heads of Mission, and senior diplomats, visited the National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) at NDMA Headquarters for a comprehensive briefing on Pakistan’s proactive and technology-driven disaster management framework.

 

Chairman NDMA, Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik HI(M), highlighted Pakistan’s transition towards anticipatory disaster risk management, emphasizing innovation, real-time data systems, and international collaboration. He underscored Pakistan’s readiness to partner globally through data sharing, joint training, and replication of NEOC capabilities.

Pakistan Disaster Lens 2026 & Global Disaster Lens 2026

Disaster Early Warning System (DEW-2)

Launch of the Global Disaster Early Warning (GDEW) App

Public outreach & mobile-based alert mechanisms

 

The visiting dignitaries appreciated Pakistan’s technological advancements and leadership in disaster risk reduction, expressing strong interest in enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

The visit also included visit of NDMA’s Center of Excellence (CoE), Disaster Resilient Infrastructure Model (DRIM), and operational facilities.
