A delegation of Federal Secretaries visited National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) at NDMA  Headquarters. 
NDMA team welcomed the delegation and gave a comprehensive briefing on the prevailing monsoon situation and the response measures being undertaken by the Authority. The session highlighted NDMA’s ongoing efforts to coordinate with provincial and regional stakeholders, public awareness, monitor hydrometerological patterns, and ensure timely relief and rescue operations across the affected areas.
The delegation was also apprised of NDMA’s broader disaster risk reduction strategies, anticipatory actions, and the functioning of integrated digital platforms that provide seamless coordination between federal, provincial, and regional entities. The briefing further emphasized NDMA’s adoption of cutting-edge technology for advanced early warning systems, and digital dashboards that support swift decision-making and proactive disaster response.
It was underscored how these technological tools and coordinated mechanisms have enabled timely dissemination of alerts and efficient relief operations, significantly reducing the human and material impact of recent weather-induced hazards.
The Federal Secretaries appreciated NDMA’s proactive approach and lauded NEOC’s modern capabilities, terming it a central hub for enhancing national disaster preparedness and resilience. They emphasized the importance of strengthened inter-agency collaboration to effectively address monsoon-related challenges and broader climate-induced disasters in the future.
