Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik briefed the house on newly built National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC). The briefing included presentation of capabilities of NEOC for early warning system, proactive preparedness, global outreach and risk communication in an effective manner. NDMA's dynamic role in managing pandemics, particularly its efforts during the COVID-19 outbreak in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Pak Army were also highlighted.

Recognizing the NEOC's potential impact, Dr. Nadeem Jan and the Surgeon General lauded its cutting-edge technology and designated it as a crucial element in safeguarding Pakistan against future disasters.
