Cadets and faculty from Cadet College Hasanabdal visited the NDMA National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) to gain insight into Pakistan’s disaster risk reduction and emergency response systems and were briefed on Pakistan’s Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) framework and mechanisms. The visit included an interactive session with NDMA officials on early warning systems, and modern approaches to preparedness, response, and recovery.

Key outcomes included interest in integrating SFDRR into the curriculum, establishing a Disaster Management Club.Such engagements foster youth leadership and promote a culture of resilience for a safer Pakistan.
